There are so many pitfalls that people don’t think about before they rush to leave their 9 to 5, and soon find themselves shackled to their small business. And that means setting clear expectations, always keeping our commitments, maintaining healthy boundaries, and always acting from a place of purpose.
Despite the fact that I was anti- social media quiz, at first, I know that we all have an insatiable desire to learn more about who we are and why. In our workaholic culture, self-care is often seen as indulgent. As a leader, it's your responsibility to set the example in your business that it’s not just about taking care of yourself when you’re sick (treating the symptom), it’s about taking good enough care of yourself that you don’t get sick or run down in the first place (treating the root cause.) Result? A happier, healthier, and wealthier business.
